Geagea, Nasrallah to Meet on Friday

Hizbullah Chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea, the most significant rivals in Lebanese politics,  will meet on Friday as they are set to simultaneously address their supporters. Nasrallah will deliver a televised speech on the occasion of "Jerusalem Day" at 17:00 pm while Geagea is scheduled to address his party's loyalists on the occasion of his release from prison.

Al-Joumhouria daily revealed Wednesday that Nasrallah's speech will be centered on the ongoing Gaza crisis as well as developments taking place in the Arab World. Hizbullah chief will stress the importance of the Palestinian cause and its effect in unifying the whole region against the sharp sectarian divisions. He will also highlight the ties of the Resistance with Palestinian leaders, mainly at the current stage.

For his part, Geagea will deliver a speech before political, diplomatic, religious, media and cultural figures who will gather at his Maarab residence, whereby he will tackle the latest developments in Lebanon and the region.

Officials affiliated to the March 14 coalition, Future Movement and civil society organizations are also set to take the floor in Maarab.
