Former President Michel Suleiman called on resolving the case of abducted Lebanese Army soldiers in Arsal away from political discrepancies, since it concerns all political factions without exception, pointing out that the government is exerting efforts to finalize this issue as per the higher national interest from one side and the laws that preserve the state's prestige on the other side.
"Electing a president is the key solution for every problem on political, constitutional, security and economic levels," Suleiman said to his visitors.
It is worth to note that Minister of Youths Abdul Mottaleb Hennaoui, MPs Hagop Pakradounian, Antoine Zahra and Jamal Jarrah were among his visitors.
Separately, Suleiman was briefed on France's aid to Lebanese Army by French ambassador Patrice Paoli.
