PSP head Walid Jumblatt noted to as-Safir daily that he is not concerned with slipping into sedition as per the Islamic State’s efforts, pointing out that the captives belong to the Military institution before belong to any sect.

Jumblatt added that the soldiers were already running perils as they were fulfilling their duties and that all efforts are deployed to release them based on negotiations not swap.
