France’s government faces pivotal confidence vote

France's beleaguered government faces a pivotal parliamentary confidence vote on Tuesday as President Francois Hollande's popularity hit an all-time low.

Prime Minister Manuel Valls will outline the government's work program and submit it to a ballot cast following Economy Minister Arnaud Montebourg’s critique of France’s administration.

The polls come two days before a rare press conference where Mr. Hollande is expected to face grilling as 62% would rather see him resign.
