US Ambassador to Lebanon David Hale relayed during a meeting with Defense Minister Samir Mokbel, his country's determination to meet the Lebanese Army's needs.

For his part, Mokbel, for his part voiced gratitude to the U.S. for its support for arming the Lebanese Army at this "critical stage the country and the region is going through."
