أعلن النائب بطرس حرب أن "التزامنا وتمسكنا بتمويل المحكمة الدولية هو قانوني وأخلاقي"، معتبرا بعد استقباله موفدا من الأمم المتحدة، أن "إقدام بعض القوى داخل الحكومة على حماية المتهمين بجريمة اغتيال رفيق الحريري يعرض لبنان لأخطار عدة لا نقبل بها".
