Lebanese Forces Chief Samir Geagea is widely known for his devoted attention to Art news as well as artists’ latest releases.

This habit has been largely cultivated behind bars as geagea's time was devised with extensive reading.

On the other hand, the Chief of the Change and Reform bloc, MP Michel Aoun, has developed a special taste for refined art for he only keep tabs on artists honored by his own party.

These two men have clashed almost on every topic. They disagreed in the matters of politics, the military and now in Art.

Soon, a new song will christen their restored relations and undermine their long-standing conflict.

It all started with Zein al-Omar's tweets, summing up the LF-FPM accord that was spearheaded by MP Ibrahim Kanaan and the head of LF’s press office, Melhem Riachy.

After a little coaxing from Zein, Riachy answered with the song that began as such:

“We were living together,

Brothers of the same age, sharing the same room,

The same anxieties, love and friendships,

We would hold each other’s hands and chase after new paths

We’d go fruit picking here

And above our beds, a picture of Bachir, Samir and Aoun hang on the wall.”

The song, at Zein’s disposal for the past two weeks, tells the story of two brothers, one belonging to the FPM party and the other to the Lebanese Forces.

The artist was captivated by this cause, tearing at “my mother told me to look after my brother: watch out for your brother.”

In an interview with MTV, Zein was enthused over the prospect of a new song that composer Jihad Habchi is likely to finish working on within a few days.

The artist says that the song, in its melody and lyrics, constitutes an artistic and national masterpiece. It offers a quick spin on divisions within the Christian enclave, and carries a rejection to a passed down legacy of humiliation and fragmentation.

“I will sing it out of all of my heart and convictions. I have always said in interviews that the conflict must end and I hope that the parties’ loyalists will come around and embrace love,” he said. “We have paid the dear price of this conflict, and it is about time this reconciliation gets coronated with the words of Riachy and my voice. God willing, we will keep on delivering the message thanks to the greatest endeavors of MP Kanaan.”

Zein promised us a song unlike any other, a song that remedies the open wounds and a window to the future in the hopes that the two leaders will get to sing it together one day.
