MTV news channel learned that a foreign security apparatus has shared delicate information with the Lebanese army’s Intelligence department about serious threats targeting House Speaker Nabih Berri and military Chief, Gen. Jean Kahwaji.

Extra security measures have been taken to secure the safety of Lebanon’s two lead figureheads during their daily travel given that they have already been featured in previous reports as potential targets for assassination.

But although threat has become much greater, no concrete evidence has been found as yet to support claims of imminent liquidation intent.
