Foucher salutes "sense of responsibility" of Lebanese people

French Ambassador to Lebanon, Bruno Foucher, celebrated on Saturday the commemoration of the "Truce of November 11, 1918," during a ceremony held in the French military cemetery in Beirut. 

Speaking at the ceremony, Foucher hailed the "sense of responsibility" among the Lebanese people, saying, "It is in nobody's interest to start a new period of instability in Lebanon." 

Ambassadors of the U.S., Elizabeth Richard, the European Union, Christina Lassen, the U.K., Hugo Shorter, Germany, Martin Huth, Romania, Victor Mercia, Belgium, Alex Lenaerts, and Greece, Theodore Passas, attended the ceremony.
