Head of the Finance House committee, MP Ibrahim Kanaan, indicated on Wednesday that the 2018 state budget bill includes 55 articles, split to four chapters.
He explained that the committee had abolished two articles relevant to the servicemen's retirement age and to determining the pensions of judges delegated to public administrations.
The Parliament convened today in a plenary session devoted to discussing and endorsing the 2018 budget blueprint.
Reading out the Finance committee's report after finalizing the bill study, Kanaan highlighted the panel's recommendation on ending the dossier of the Lebanese University's contract teachers.
