Derian contacts UAE ambassador: We regret attempts to distort fraternal relations

Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian contacted by phone the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Lebanon, Dr. Hamad Saeed Al-Shamsi, on Wednesday.

Derain expressed deep regret vis-a-vis attempts to distort the strong fraternal ties between Lebanon and the UAE.


"Lebanon and its people highly appreciate all what the Emirates has done in support of Lebanon and the Lebanese, especially amid some of the toughest of junctures," Derian added.
