The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz welcomed Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdullatif Derian during a ceremony held at the Royal Court at the Mina Palace, for those who performed Hajj rituals this year.

In this context, the Mufti praised the efforts exerted by the Saudi government in the success of the pilgrimage season this year. 

Earlier, Derian received congratulatory phone calls on Eid al-Adha from, President Michel Aoun, Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri, Maronite Patriarch Bechara Rahi, Head of the Supreme Islamic Shia Council, Sheikh Abdul Amir Qabalan, Sheikh Akl of the Druze community, Sheikh Naiim Hassan, in addition to MPs, ministers and other personalities.
