Minister of State for Foreign Trade, Hassan Mrad said in an interview on Friday that he received the ministry file related to more than one portfolio, namely the foreign affairs, industry, agriculture and economy, for the export of Lebanese products.

He pointed out that "agreements were signed by the efforts of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the new ministry will activate and finalize them so as to serve the Lebanese."

"President Michel Aoun has proved to be, indeed, the 'father of all'," he said.

"I represent the Consultative meeting, attend the Strong Lebanon bloc sessions and vote according to what the consultative meeting suggests," Mrad added.

In response to what is said about an agreement under the table with Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil, Mrad said: "What is there to agree about?" pointing out that he contacted the nine members of the Consultative Gathering and told them that he will be representing them and the president was the one who chose that.
