Marada bloc member, MP Tony Frangieh, during the third session to discuss the ministerial statement "We hope that basic reforms will affect the electricity sector, which causes the treasury more than two billion dollars in loss," stressing that "raising taxes and taking money out of people's pockets, especially TVA, is categorically rejected."
"We need to support the industry in Lebanon. Based on McKinsey's study, the State can create 50,000 jobs in the industrial sector and another 5,000 in the agriculture sector," Frangieh said.
"We hope that the government will abide by the commitments made in the ministerial statement on e-government and the implementing decrees of the laws that have been passed, next to the approval of the remaining laws left in the council's drawers," he said.
