UAE Ambassador to Lebanon, Hamad Al-Shamsi, visited the Social Welfare Institution in Tarik Jdideh on Saturday, where he learned about its activities and services, as well as projects implemented and supported by the Emirates Red Crescent.
Shamsi, who praised the work of the Institution, stressed that "the UAE showed through its actions that the human is their objective."
The ambassador added that "visiting the orphanages is a duty and providing them with help and support is a priority."
Finally, the diplomat handed out gifts to the children of the Institution.
