A delegation from the civil campaign for the support of Palestine and the nation's causes paid a solidarity visit to Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon, Ali Abdul Karim Ali at the embassy headquarters in Yarze.

After the meeting Ali said "The Palestinian cause is the compass for Syria and sovereignty. Few are the countries that know the true meaning of sovereignty in the world. In the region, you stand by Syria and we are keen on brothers and friends and seize any positive initiative to restore energies and potentials."

"Syria will not lose the compass and Palestine. Syria knows how to differentiate between those who stood by its side and those who were enemies to themselves and to it. However, Syria does not deal with the logic of revenge. It forgives where that forgiveness serves its interest and where it believes forgiveness serves the cause," the ambassador affirmed.
