Environment Minister Fadi Jreissati sponsored the opening of the Palm Islands Nature Reserve in Tripoli with the participation of MP Faisal Karami and a number of activists in the field of environment.
During the opening, Jreissati expressed his hope that "this opening will put Tripoli and Lebanon on the world and environmental tourism map."
In turn, MP Karami pointed out that "there is no tourism and economy without environment."
