Minister of National Defense, Elias Bou Saab, stressed during the opening of Army Square in Ain Dara, that "the Lebanese Army will always remain the sole guarantor of all the Lebanese," adding that there is no prosperity or economy without security.

After congratulating the Druze and the Muslims on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha, he said that "the only salvation of Lebanon is to gather around the military institution, which safeguards the Constitution and freedom in the country."

Bou Saab also noted that "the Head of State is the guarantor of the Constitution and is firmly committed to applying the law," stressing that the meeting held in Baabda after the Bsatin incident showed the President's commitment to justice.
