Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri received numerous well-wishing calls on Tuesday marking the Adha Feast, most notably from President Michel Aoun, Prime Minister Saad Hariri, former President Michel Sleiman and heads of a number of Arab and Islamic parliaments and legislative councils.

He also received congratulatory calls from former Prime Ministers Tammam Salam, Najib Mikati and Fouad Siniora, Deputy Speaker Elie Ferzli, Druze Sheikh Aql Naim Hassan, Central Bank Governor Riad Salameh, as well as various current and former ministers and deputies, accredited ambassadors in Lebanon, and partisan, political, economic, security, military and judicial officials.

Additionally, Berri received several well-wishing cables on the occasion from heads of parliaments of a number of Arab, Islamic and international countries.

The House Speaker, in turn, contacted Supreme Islamic Shiite Council Head, Imam Sheikh Abdul Amir Qabalan, and cabled a number of presidents, leaders and heads of parliaments and legislative councils in the Arab and Islamic worlds.
