The Meteorological Department predicted the weather to be partly cloudy on Friday with low temperatures along the interior and mountainous areas, while remaining unchanged along the coastline.
In its detailed weather forecast, it indicated the following:
General weather condition: Summer weather dominates the eastern Mediterranean basin
- Predicted weather in Lebanon:
Thursday: Few clouds to partly cloudy with winds sometimes active without any alterations in temperature on the coast, while decreasing in mountainous and inland areas and fog forming on the highlands in the afternoon
Friday: Few clouds to partly cloudy with lower temperatures in the interior and mountain areas, while remaining unchanged on the coast as fog forms on the highlands in the evening
Saturday: Partly cloudy to cloudy atimes, with active winds and little temperature changes. Heavy fog forms on the highlands with the possibility of some slight local showers
- Expected temperatures:
On the coast from 21 to 32 degrees,
Above the mountains from 17 to 27 degrees,
At the Interior from 18 to 32 degrees
- Wind: Southwesterly, sometimes active, speed between 15 and 40 km / hr.
- Visibility: Overall average on the coast, worsens on the highlands due to fog
- Relative humidity on the coast: between 45% & 80 %
- Sea condition: Low waves to wavy - water surface temperature is at 29 degrees
- Atmospheric pressure: 758 mm Hg.
