Information Minister Jamal Jarrah announced at the end of Tuesday's Cabinet session, that the government is set to file a complaint with the United Nations Security Council over recent Israeli assault.
Minister Jarrah said that Prime Minister Saad Hariri opened up the Cabinet's session by condemning Israeli aggression against Lebanon, disclosing that intensified contacts are being undertaken to end this assault.
"The Lebanese government will lodge a complaint with the Security Council about the Israeli attacks," he said, adding that "the High Defense Council will hold a meeting during the day to discuss the case."
For his part, Environment Minister Fadi Jreissati declared that the Ministry has submitted a plan for the waste issue.
"To those who seek to criticize us, give us a solution," he said.
He reiterated that no decision has been taken regarding the Jdeideh, Bourj Hammoud and Costa Brava landfills.
