The Central Administration of Statistics at the Cabinet announced on Monday that the consumer price index in Lebanon for the month of October 2019 has increased by 1.36% in comparison to the month of September 2019. These increasing figures have been recorded in different Lebanese governorates as follows:
An increase in Beirut Governorate by 0.87%
An increase in Mount Lebanon Governorate by 1.18%
An increase in the Northern Governorate by 1.72%
An increase in the Bekaa Governorate by 2.54%
An increase in the South Governorate by 1.25%
An increase in Nabatieh Governorate by 1.09%
It is to note that the consumer price index in Lebanon for the month of October 2019 has increased by 1.33% in comparison to the month of October 2018.
