Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri on Friday met at the Second Presidency in Ain el-Tineh with the US Mediator on the demarcation of the southern maritime border, Amos Hochstein, and his accompanying delegation,
Speaker Berri underlined, "Lebanon's adherence to the framework agreement and its determination to invest in its wealth in its entire exclusive economic zone.”
Berri stressed "the necessity of returning to Naqoura for indirect negotiations under the auspices of the United Nations and mediation by the United States of America, in accordance with the framework agreement until the desired results are reached."
Moreover, Berri received General Security Chief, Major General Abbas Ibrahim, with whom he discussed the current general situation, especially the security ones, and the latest developments.
This afternoon, Berri received the head of La Regie Libanaise Des Tabacs Et Tombacs (Regie) Engineer Nassif Seklaoui, and members of the board of directors.
