Mikati at the Jeddah Summit: We look forward for Your Visit
Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati indicated that "Lebanon never hesitated to open its door to the displaced Syrians, but Lebanon can no longer bear the prolonged crisis and the increasing number of displaced," pointing out that "the return of the displaced Syrians cannot be achieved if Arab and international forces do not work together with a clear road map."

Mikati added, in a speech he delivered at the Arab summit in Jeddah: “In the name of all of Lebanon, I stress on respecting the interests of brotherly countries, their sovereignty, and their social and political security, and fighting against exporting contraband to them and everything that harms their stability,” continuing: “We look forward to Saudi Arabia's sponsorship of Lebanon to help it get back on its feet, I thank Iraq for what it has always provided, and we look forward for Arabs to visit our country during summer.”

He also labeled this summit a "healing summit" stressing that he values the return of Syria to play its role in the Arab League.
