Lebanese Forces Party leader Samir Geagea mourned the death of Roland Al Murr, chief of the Lebanese Forces' Karm El Zeitoun Center in Ashrafieh, calling his killing a crime of ignorance and treachery.
In a statement, Geagea described Al Murr as a peaceful, open-minded mediator who epitomized commitment, sacrifice, and humility. "Your martyrdom will restore Ashrafieh's security and free it from foreign influences," Geagea affirmed.
The Lebanese Forces Party, alongside the Driving Schools Owners' Syndicate, also issued a joint statement of condolence, announcing funeral services to be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 2:00 pm in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Achrafieh. Burial will follow in the family cemetery in Bolonia.
Condolences will be received in the church hall on December 5 and 6, from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm, and on the day of the funeral starting at 11:00 am.
