Israel Requests Extension of Its Stay in Lebanon for the Second Time
The deadline for the Israeli army's withdrawal from southern Lebanon is set for February 18. After extending the initial 60-day deadline stipulated in the ceasefire agreement from January 26 to February 18, Israel is now seeking approval from the United States to extend its presence in southern Lebanese territory.

Israeli media has revealed that "Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu asked US President Donald Trump to delay the withdrawal from Lebanon once again."

Furthermore, it added: "Israel presented evidence to the Americans that the Lebanese army has not addressed Hezbollah's violations."
