President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, received a letter from the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, delivered by Qatari Ambassador to Lebanon Saud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.
The letter included an official invitation to participate in the Second Global Summit on Social Development, set to take place in Doha this November.
