President Joseph Aoun was briefed by Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, during their meeting at Baabda Palace, on the outcomes of the Arab Summit held in the Iraqi capital, as well as the atmosphere of the meetings he held on the sidelines of the summit.

The President was also informed about the updates of the Prime Minister’s meetings in Rome and the outcome of his visit to Cairo.

The discussion also covered the progress of the municipal and mukhtar elections, along with the ongoing preparations for the fourth and final phase in the South and Nabatieh governorates.
