Minister of Interior and Municipalities Ahmad Hajjar emphasized that “the elections started well, and we say to our resilient people in the South that the state is here with you and by your side.”

During his visit to the Marjeyoun District Office, Hajjar added, “The Israeli attacks have affected all of Lebanon, including certain villages and specific points in the South, but the pain has struck the entire Lebanese people.”

He continued, “The Israeli army’s occupation of our land and violation of our airspace is condemned, the government is doing its part, and we hope the state will extend its sovereignty over all its territory in the coming days.”
