Prime Minister Nawaf Salam held a phone call with President of the Republic Joseph Aoun, during which they discussed the serious developments unfolding in the region and their potential impact on Lebanon. They agreed to keep communication channels open between the two sides and to work together to shield Lebanon from the repercussions of the situation, prioritizing the nation’s higher interest and preserving unity and national solidarity.

In the same context, Salam conducted a series of phone calls that included Minister of National Defense Michel Manassa, Minister of Interior and Municipalities Ahmad Hajjar, and Army Commander General Rodolphe Haykal. These contacts were made within the framework of coordinating efforts and taking all necessary security measures to maintain internal stability and safeguard national security during this critical period.
