Army chief leads a series of meetings, broaches latest developments
Lebanon’s Army Commander, Major General Rodolph Haykal, received at his Yarzeh office, the UK Defence Senior Advisor to the Middle East and North Africa (DSAME) Vice Admiral Edward Ahlgren, with an accompanying delegation, in the presence of British Ambassador to Lebanon, Hamish Cowell.

The army commander also received in his office, the French Ambassador to Lebanon, Hervé Magro, accompanied by Military Attaché Colonel Bruno Costantini.

During these two meetings, discussions covered the general situation in Lebanon and the region, in light of current developments, as well as ways to enhance cooperation between the Lebanese Armed Forces and the British and French armies.

Major General Haykal also received also received the Armenian Ambassador to Lebanon, Vahagn Atabekian, accompanied by the Military Attaché.

The army chief then received MP Michel Daher.

The latest developments featured high on their talks.
