The Council of Ministers convened in a regular session at Baabda Palace at 3:00 pm, chaired by President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, and attended by Prime Minister Nawaf Salam and the ministers.

The Council of Ministers will discuss an 11-item agenda, most notably appointments item, in addition to urgent matters requiring appropriate decisions.

Ahead of the Cabinet session, a meeting was held between President Aoun and Premier Salam, during which both men broached the latest developments.
