Head of the Lebanese Economic Committees, former minister Mohammad Choucair, welcomed the Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Lebanon, Walid Al-Hadid, at the Beirut and Mount Lebanon Chamber headquarters.

Discussions during the visit touched on ways to develop bilateral economic relations and enhance cooperation between the Lebanese and Jordanian private sectors.

Choucair welcomed Ambassador Al-Hadid, hailing the fraternal and historical relations between Lebanon and Jordan, and stressed the Lebanese economic bodies and the private sector’s interest in developing economic relations between the two countries.

In turn, Ambassador Al-Hadid hailed "the depth and strength of the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries,’’ and stressed Jordan's constant support for Lebanon in achieving stability, progress, and prosperity."
