Prime Minister Nawaf Salam and his Jordanian counterpart Jaafar Hassan have agreed to convene the Lebanese-Jordanian Joint Higher Committee during the current year.

During a second round of talks held at a luncheon banquet hosted by the Jordanian Prime Minister in honor of Premier Salam and his accompanying delegation, the two sides affirmed that the Lebanese-Jordanian Joint Higher Committee will focus on the trade, transportation, and energy sectors to expand cooperation in the coming period.
