Prime Minister Nawaf Salam wrote the following on X: 

"I welcome the start of the process to hand over Palestinian weapons, which began today at Burj al-Barajneh camp in Beirut, where the first batch of weapons has been delivered and placed under the custody of the Lebanese Army. This process will continue in the coming weeks with additional handovers at Burj al-Barajneh and the other camps."
