Minister of Industry Joe Issa El Khoury met with Minister of Finance Yassine Jaber, with whom he discussed the various obstacles facing Lebanon’s industrial sector. 

Talks reportedly focused particularly on exporters’ delayed VAT refunds and other pressing financial challenges.

Both ministers affirmed their commitment to resolving these issues and agreed to establish a joint committee between the two ministries to follow up and coordinate solutions.
