President of the Republic Joseph Aoun welcomed Minister of Information Paul Morcos, and Secretary-General of the Arab Media Forum Madi Al Khamees, at Baabda Palace, where he welcomed the upcoming convening of the Arab Media Forum in Beirut.
The President affirmed that “Lebanon was and will remain a leading Arab and international media hub, a meeting place for responsible freedom that safeguards the dignity of peoples and the stability of states.”
Minister Morcos announced that the forum will take place in Beirut in October under the President’s patronage, expressing gratitude to the Kuwaiti delegation for their valuable initiative.
Al Khamees, for his part, said: “We were honored to meet the President, who reaffirmed his gracious sponsorship of the Arab Media Forum in Lebanon — a nation that radiates culture and shines with hope. We invite all to participate in strengthening its pioneering role in media and culture.”
