Minister of Interior and Municipalities Ahmad Al-Hajjar chaired a meeting in his office at the ministry, attended by Beirut Police Commander of the Internal Security Forces, Brigadier General Imad al-Jammal, and Beirut City Guard Regiment Commander Brigadier General Abbas al-Husseini.

During the meeting, a plan was presented for the deployment of guard regiment officers alongside the Beirut Police, which aims to ensure security, regulate traffic, and strengthen the presence of security apparatuses to preserve public safety in the capital Beirut.
