Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri received at the second presidential residence in Ain El-Tineh, Ernesto Ramirez Rigo, head of the IMF mission in Lebanon, and Frederico Lima, in the presence of the IMF’s resident representative in Lebanon, Frederico Lima.

Discussions reportedly centered on the Fund's work programmes in Lebanon.

Speaker Berri later received respectively Economy Minister Amer Bsat, and MP Michel Murr, with whom he discussed political developments and the general situation.

Separately, Berri discussed with Army Commander General Rodolph Haykal the country’s security and field situation, in addition to the affairs of the military institution.
