Progressive Socialist Party leader, MP Taymour Jumblatt, welcomed Agriculture Minister Nizar Hani at Clemenceau, accompanied by his team and advisor Houssam Harb. 

Discussions centered on ministry strategies to strengthen farmers’ resilience, expand export markets, and modernize agricultural infrastructure. 

Jumblatt reiterated the Democratic Gathering’s support for initiatives serving rural development, praising Hani’s leadership. 

The minister stressed the need for partnerships between ministries, parliament, and the private sector to safeguard food security and bolster the economy. 

Both sides agreed to maintain coordination to ensure sustainable solutions and promote agriculture as a pillar of Lebanon’s economic and social recovery.
