Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport customs seized a large quantity of cocaine -10 kilograms- found in the possession of Lebanese passenger M.B., arriving from Addis Ababa. The drugs had been hidden in an innovative way inside her luggage.

The estimated market value of the seized cocaine is around 1.5 million US Dollars.

Following instructions from the competent public prosecutor, the passenger was interrogated and detained before being handed over, along with the confiscated drugs, to the Drug Enforcement Office.
