President of the Republic Joseph Aoun concluded his tour of Lebanon’s oversight bodies at the Court of Audit, where he met with its president, Judge Mohammad Badran, and reviewed the court’s work. 

Aoun stressed the need for full independence and integrity in judicial oversight, describing the court as “the last fortress protecting public funds.” 

Moreover, the President urged expedited rulings on accumulated cases of waste and financial violations, warning that “delayed justice is not justice.”
