Lebanon’s Army Commander, General Rodolphe Haykal, received at his Yarzeh office, US General Joseph Clearfield, head of the Cessation of Hostilities Monitoring (Mechanism), accompanied by US General Michael Leeney, who paid him a farewell visit with a delegation.

 The discussion reportedly touched on the general situation in Lebanon and the region, as well as the stages of implementing the Cessation of Hostilities Agreement.

The army commander also received Vice Speaker, MP Elias Bou Saab, with whom he discussed the general situation in the country.
