Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri received, at the second presidential headquarters in Ain El-Tineh, the UK Defence Senior Advisor to the Middle East and North Africa (DSAME) Vice Admiral Edward Ahlgren, and the accompanying military delegation, in the presence of British Ambassador to Lebanon, Hamish Cowell.

The meeting reportedly addressed developments in   in Lebanon and the broad region, political and field updates, and the bilateral relations between Lebanon and the United Kingdom.

Berri later received the head of the Hariri Foundation for Sustainable Human Development, Bahia Hariri, with the latest developments and educational and developmental matters topping their discussions.

This afternoon, Speaker Berri  received Brigadier General, André Rahal, advisor to President Joseph Aoun.
