Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee wrote on X:
“Warplanes recently struck Hezbollah infrastructure in the Mazraat Sinaï area in southern Lebanon, which was being used in reconstruction attempts. A quarry used by Hezbollah to produce cement for rebuilding terrorist facilities and infrastructure that had been targeted and destroyed during the Iron Swords war, particularly during Operation Northern Arrows, was hit.
This infrastructure enabled Hezbollah’s reconstruction efforts under civilian cover.
A target belonging to the Green Without Borders Association was also struck, which Hezbollah used to conceal terrorist activities aimed at rebuilding the organization’s infrastructure in southern Lebanon under a purported civilian cover. It was previously revealed in 2018 that the Green Without Borders Association operated under a civilian guise to hide Hezbollah’s presence in the border area with Israel.
The existence of this infrastructure constitutes a blatant violation of agreements between Israel and Lebanon, and the IDF will continue to act to eliminate any threat to the State of Israel.”
