The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Department issued the following statement:
Maintenance crews from the Ministry of Public Works and Transport will begin installing reflective traffic markers along the median of the international highway connecting Hazmieh, Aley, Sawfar, and Dahr al-Baydar, as part of efforts to enhance road safety.
The work will start at 7:00 a.m. on October 24, 2025, from the Ashrafieh Bridge area, across from City Centre, up to the Sofar Bridge, and will continue until completion.
The statement noted that the works will not require any road closures or traffic diversions.
Citizens are kindly asked to take note, follow the instructions of Internal Security Forces officers on the ground, and comply with traffic signs to ensure public safety and prevent congestion.
