Minister of Information Paul Morcos expressed his “deep gratitude to President Joseph Aoun for his generous patronage of the 21st Arab Media Forum, exceptionally held in Beirut.” He said the President’s support “provided a national umbrella for the event, reaffirming Beirut’s place on the Arab media map and underscoring Lebanon’s role in the regional media landscape.”
Morcos also thanked Secretary-General of the Forum, Mr. Madi Al-Khamis, for his “organizational efforts and sincere affection for Lebanon,” noting that hosting the forum in Beirut for the first time outside Kuwait “reflects trust in Lebanon and its media institutions.”
Moreover, the Minister extended appreciation to Lebanese and Arab media outlets, particularly the National News Agency and Tele Liban, as well as sponsors, supporters, and the organizing team “whose efforts made this event possible.”
“Beirut,” Morcos concluded, “remains an Arab hub for responsible media dialogue and a symbol of free, professional, and influential journalism.”
