Israeli fighter jets carried out an airstrike at dawn on the Khanouq area in the southern Lebanese town of Aitaroun, launching two air-to-ground missiles near the site of the explosion that occurred two days ago.

Less than half an hour later, Israeli warplanes struck the western outskirts of the town of Tayr Felsay, launching two consecutive rounds of airstrikes targeting the same area.

Throughout the night, Israeli reconnaissance drones flew heavily at low altitude over Nabatieh and its surrounding towns.
