Season’s First Snow Blankets the Highlands of Dennieh
Snow fell for the first time this year over the Dennieh highlands after the peak of Qornet al-Sawda, Lebanon’s highest summit at 3,088 meters above sea level, was covered in white.

The snowfall reached the Jurd al-Najass and Jurd Marbeen areas, at 2,400 and 2,200 meters respectively, where a thin layer formed. Temperatures dropped noticeably, with heavy rain hitting the highland, central, and coastal regions.
