Social Affairs Minister lays floral wreath on Saeb Salam's tomb
On behalf of the Lebanese Republic, Minister of Social Affairs Haneen Sayed, laid a wreath on the tomb of the late Prime Minister Saeb Salam, in the Martyrs' Cemetery, in the presence of former PM Tammam Salam and his son Saeb Salam, the representative of the Army Commander Brigadier General Amer Amer, and former ministers Firas Abiad and Mohammad Machnouk, and other dignitaries.

On this occasion, Former Premier Tammam Salam said: “On Independence Day and on the occasion of commemorating the men of independence, including Saeb Salam, we address all Lebanese and call on them to hold on to this great historical achievement, and to support and strengthen it with all that it needs in terms of dedication, sincerity and diligent work, because Lebanon is dear to all of us and protecting its sovereignty, freedom and independence is the responsibility of all of us.”
